Mid infra-red gas sensing using a hollow-core photonic bandgap fibre.

11 November 2006

Abstract

An all silica photonic bandgap fibre capable of sub dBm-1 transmission in the mid infra-red is presented. This fibre is demonstrated for the first measurement of gas absorption above 3μm using an all silica fibre.
