Compositional paradigms in multinary compound systems for photovoltaic applications: a case study of kesterites.
11 November 2015
Abstract
Utilizing a combinatorial approach, two distinct compositions for optimizing optoelectronic properties are found for Cu2ZnSnSe4-based solar cells, due to formation of different defect clusters, secondary phases, and potentially other composition related effects. One of the highest open circuit voltages for this compound is reported, as well as a narrower compositional range for high efficiency devices.
