The IS1000 is a 1m diameter integrating sphere typically used for measuring total spectral and/or luminous flux in CF (compact fluorescent) and CMH (ceramic metal halide) lamp types. CIE84 recommends a diameter of at least ten times the source size for compact lamps.

As with all Bentham integrating spheres, a full range of options and accessories are available, including:
